Due to the coronavirus, a large company from NRW was faced with the completely novel challenge of holding its supervisory board meeting in April digitally as a WebEx meeting together with us. For this purpose, we first adapted the existing event concept to the new requirements. We paid particular attention to smooth technical implementation and to optimal audio and video quality, as well as data security.
The next step was to set up a dedicated studio for the project at our headquarters in Königswinter. From there, we are able to transmit and record audio and video sequences live as a webstream. In order to meet the requirements of a multilingual meeting, we also integrated an interpreter hub in our studio and equipped it for the conference interpreters. The languages to be translated were German and English.
We have also enhanced the streaming with intelligent functions. Each participant had access to a digital platform complementary to the conference. Here, a multilingual PowerPoint presentation was made available, as well as general information such as the agenda and further conference documents.
